Conner Prairie and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra in Fishers, Indiana

Most people visit Conner Prairie for it’s educational value as it teaches children (and adults) what it was like to live in the 19th century, but did you know that the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra plays for the public on the weekends during the summer!

People bring their families and friends, their wine, picnic baskets and blankets and/or chairs and enjoy the beautiful summer weather here in Fishers, IN every weekend. The schedule includes music like “Simply Sinatra”, “Bond, James Bond”, “Pure Beethoven”, “River City Brass Band” and so many other great tributes to both classic and pop music. Advance tickets are $19.00 and $24.00 at the gate.

Jim Brickman was here last year; it was one of the most delightful evenings we have ever had. The cool breeze blowing, the wonderful music, sitting with friends, truly a relaxing time.

Conner Prairie is located on Allisonville Road, just north of 131st on the west side of the road. During the 4th of July, the ISO plays and there is also a firework display. This is certainly an event you will not want to miss if you are visiting the Indianapolis or Fishers area during the summer months.
